It’s nice to meet you!

My name is Laura Svites (pronounced sah-vee-tez) and you’ve made it to—say it with me now—Svites Design, a site where I get to share the work I’m passionate about.

My creative style is notorious for being clean and streamlined. I love typography and sophisticated layouts, while also being a perfectionist when it comes to consistency and alignment. More importantly than that, I challenge myself every day to use design as a tool, not an end, to transform the world around me for better.

I demand more than just aesthetics. I call for design that is rooted in research, design that is intentional and strategic, and design that opens minds.

I’m currently an Art Director at a global advisory and advocacy firm with nearly a decade of experience serving as a strategic creative advisor for clients in healthcare, energy, and finance, as well as non-profit work focused on community impact. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Studio Art from James Madison University.
